Although Ezi-Dock Systems Ltd has traded in the USA for more than 10 years, such has been the demand for it latest range of products that the company has now consolidated its North American sales operation into a central office based in Barrington, New Hampshire.
Having won two prestigious Queen’s Awards in two years, one for Export Achievement and one for Innovation, Nottinghamshire UK-based Ezi-Dock Systems is no stranger to success or to international markets. However, since Ezi-Dock’s Ezi-Flow CSV contained transfer system was launched in the United States the company has been able to penetrate much further into the huge North American pharma and bio-pharma markets. Now a stand-alone Ezi-Dock USA office will handle all North American sales from January 2016, and will be able to offer an enhanced service for sales and technical support in the US and Canada.
“Launching Ezi-Flow in the US really moved us into another gear,” said Ezi-Dock MD Steve McAleavy. “The whole pharma industry is aware that traditional contained transfer systems are far from satisfactory. Manufacturers either used outmoded split butterfly valves which required lengthy, cumbersome and potentially hazardous cleaning, or newer single-use systems, which often delivered inadequate levels of containment, high cost and long lead times for systems and consumables.
“Our growing range of products offer a choice of re-useable or single-use, disposable systems providing much higher levels of containment, lower cost and trouble-free supply. North American demand has been strong from the outset, and contributed significantly to our Queen’s Award for Export Achievement in 2014.”
